A redesign needs a reason beyond wanting a different look. The useful question is what the current system makes difficult: reading, recognition, consistency or adaptation. I try to connect a proposed change to a specific communication problem.
Before-and-after examples can make that reasoning visible. The explanation should identify what changed and why the new arrangement suits the task. A visual comparison becomes more convincing when it helps the viewer evaluate the decision rather than simply choosing a favourite style.
