A visual identity is more than a collection of attractive elements. Symbol, colour, type and composition need to describe the same character when they appear together. I look for the relationships between those elements rather than judging each one in isolation.
A project presentation can move from the overall system to its smaller rules and applications. This helps the viewer follow the reasoning. Showing the original presentation pages also makes the details easier to inspect than repeatedly enlarging a small cover image.
