A portfolio can include both educational and professional projects when the context is clear. Each type of work may demonstrate useful skills, but the brief and conditions can differ. I label those differences rather than relying on the appearance of the final image.
A reader should be able to understand the role, collaboration and intended outcome. That allows a student exploration to be appreciated on its own terms. Clear context makes the selection feel more coherent without presenting every piece as a commissioned project.
